Method and system for playing television program at mobile terminal and digital television receiving terminal

The invention relates to a method and a system for playing a television program at a mobile terminal and a digital television receiving terminal. The method comprises the following steps that: the mobile terminal establishes communication linkage with the digital television receiving terminal; the terminal mobile transmits a triggering command to the digital television receiving terminal; the digital television receiving terminal receives the triggering command, analyzes the triggering command into a command signal, and executes a corresponding action according to the command signal; and the mobile terminal receives and plays a television live program transmitted by the digital television receiving terminal. The method, the system and the like provided by the invention can transmit the television live program to a mobile phone through a wireless network, such as a WIFI home network, so that the television live program on a set-top box is switched to the mobile phone; and therefore, the television live program on the set-top box can be watched through the mobile phone whenever and wherever possible without wasting the traffic of the mobile phone.
