The preparation method comprises the following steps: obtaining 1, 4-diaminoanthraquinone-2, 3-dicarboxylic anhydride through carrying out a hydrolysis reaction and a ring closure reaction on 1, 4- diaminoanthraquinone-2, 3-dicarboxyl imine; adding p-carboxymethylsulfonyl aniline, and carrying out a reaction and acid precipitation to obtain a filter cake; and standardizing. So the dye is obtained. The dye is used to prepare ink jet printer ink, and is not subjected to secondary dissolution and does not diffuse with water after precipitated on printing paper, so the application range of ink jet printers can be broadened.
