Abstract

The invention discloses a navigation system and a navigation method therefor. The navigation system and the navigation method are used for guiding a mobile object to reach a destination along a plan path. The navigation system is provided with a photographic device for acquiring images in front of a mobile object in navigation, and with a comparison module for comparing the images acquired by the photographic device and data of landmarks through which the mobile object will pass in the plan path. If characteristics are conform, a navigation interface prompts the plan path in the way of inclusion of landmark data-related information and if the characteristics are not conform, the navigation interface prompts the plan path in the way of exclusion of the landmark data-related information. Therefore, the navigation system can realize effective and accurate navigation.
