Abstract

Disclosed are a data transmission system, a data transmission method, and a transmission device. A data transmission system has a plurality of signal lines (16A to 16E) that transmit either transmission data that is transmitted from a transmission side (LSI10) to a reception side (LSI20) or reception adjustment data for adjusting reception. In addition, the data transmission system determines which signal line among the plurality of signal lines (16A to 16E) will be used to transmit the reception adjustment data. Then, using the chosen signal line, the data transmission system transmits the reception adjustment data to the reception side (LSI20) and, using the other signal lines, transmits the transmission data to the reception side (LSI20). As a result, data transmission efficiency can be improved whilst continuing to perform reception adjustment, because transfer processing of phase adjustment patterns can be conducted at the same time as normal data transfer processing.
