Abstract

The invention provides an engine and an exhaust gas temperature control device for the engine. The exhaust gas temperature control device comprises a vehicle-mounted electronic control unit (ECU) module, an electronic control deflation valve supercharger comprising an actuator, and a temperature sensor arranged on an exhaust port of the engine. The vehicle-mounted ECU module is connected with a circuit of the actuator and a circuit of the temperature sensor to achieve data communication, obtains temperature data collected by the temperature sensor and generates a control instruction when the temperature data reach a preset exhaust temperature value in a MAP of the vehicle-mounted ECU module. The actuator controls the opening degree of the deflation valve according to the control instruction. Due to the facts that the exhaust gas temperature control device for the engine is provided with the temperature sensor and the ECU module is utilized for generating the control instruction to control the exhaust gas temperature of the engine, the structure is simple and the cost is low.
