Abstract

The invention provides an intelligent terminal and a quick channel switching method and device thereof. The quick channel switching method includes receiving a media play request which includes an identity of a to-be-played channel and is sent from a control device, starting a first player for preparation of a to-be-played channel according to identity of the to-be-played channel, judging whether a second player plays a channel currently, if so, then binding a screen display control of the second player to the first player, and then playing the to-be-played channel through the first player. The current play channel and the to-be-played channel run alternatively, the screen display control is multiplexed in alternative running of the play channels, the problem of long time caused by blocking and releasing the screen display control in the prior art is solved, and channel switching speed can be increased effectively.
