Abstract

The invention provides a natural antioxidant for biodiesel. The main ingredient of the natural antioxidant is a ginger extract. A preparation method adopts the method comprising the following steps: cleaning and decontaminating ginger, cutting the ginger into slices, drying in the sun and smashing, carrying out centrifugal separation after digestion with ethyl alcohol, then using a rotary evaporator to evaporate ethyl alcohol, and thus obtaining the antioxidant. According to the natural antioxidant provided by the invention, the oxidation stability of the biodiesel can be obviously improved, the quality of the biodiesel is greatly improved, and the antioxidant is wide in source, long in effective time, and is a low-cost and reproducible natural antioxidant with certain economic benefit, so that the service life of an oil product can be effectively prolonged. Meanwhile, the added antioxidant has no significant influence on other physicochemical properties of the biodiesel.
