Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preventing and controlling sporisorium reilianum through floating tray seedling breeding. Organic sorghum seedling breeding is conducted in a floating tray seedling breeding mode so as to prevent and control soil-borne diseases including sporisorium reilianum. A substrate adopted for the floating tray seedling breeding is prepared from, by weight, 25-35% of rotten organic fertilizer, 25-35% of land ash and 35-45% of fine loam through mixing. Biogas slurry is used as a nutrient solution in organic sorghum floating seedling breeding. The adopted sorghum floating tray seedling breeding technology can be implemented after farmers manufacture small sheds and nutrient pools by themselves, and the technology is easy to grasp, simple in operation, convenient tomanage and high in success rate, can breed robust seedlings not infected with sporisorium reilianum and robust in root system and can also greatly shorten the seedling breeding time.
