Benefits of technology

This patented technology helps reduce wasted bandwidth by combining multiple nodes into one group based on their proximity or sizes. When an individual has fewer connections for communication purposes (a low number of connected devices). They only send requests if they meet certain criteria like joining another grouping containing similar equipment but without overloading them' ability. By doing this, these systems help save energy while still providing efficient data transfer capabilities.

Problems solved by technology

This patented describes how different types of sensory devices can communicate with one another wirelessly without consuming excessive power or requiring expensive equipment for maintenance purposes. It suggests dividing up some parts into smaller groups called clusters where multiple devices work together efficiently at once. These divided areas help save on electricity usage compared to traditional methods like wired connections. Additionally, this technology allows for efficient deployment over time due to easy management capabilities.

Abstract

The invention relates to a cluster merging method for a clustery network structure. The cluster merging method comprises the following steps: setting the maximum member amount in the cluster and determining the actual member amount in the cluster at the beginning of one cluster communication period, wherein a cluster head of the cluster broadcasts a hello packet to a neighbor node in one-hop range, and determines the amount of the neighbor node according to the amount of a reply packet of the neighbor node in one cluster communication period. The invention further relates to a data collectionprocessing module for executing the cluster merging method and a microcontroller with the data collection processing module.
