Abstract

The invention relates to a volume processing method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the steps that when media data are played, a playing mode and playing volume are acquired; when the playing mode is a loudspeaker mode and the playing volume exceeds a set volume threshold, determining whether the current playing mode is in a public area or not; and outputting prompt information when the current playing mode is in the public area at present. Through application of the method and the device, after a user sees the prompt information, the user knows thatthe current playing volume is too large, and other people in the public area are influenced, so that the user can turn down the playing volume or switch to an earphone mode for playing, the influenceon other people is avoided, and the user experience is improved.
