Abstract

A smash-ridging zero irrigation planting method for crops comprises the planting steps that (1) deep tillage smash-ridging soil preparation is performed before the rainy season or the snow reason, andthe smash-ridging depth is 40-60 cm; (2) a suitable crop is selected according to the local crop planting habit; crop seeds are sowed after undergoing conventional soaking and pregermination treatment; it is required that the seed sowing rate is increased by 10%-20% in comparison with the sowing rate of conventional irrigation planting, and the sowing depth is increased by 1-3 cm in comparison with that of conventional irrigation planting, and then, covering with soil is performed; (3) zero irrigation is executed during field management; local natural rainfall naturally permeates into the soil; and fertilizers are applied with reference to a conventional fertilizer applying method, while the fertilizers should be applied before intertillage or before the rain; and (4) after timely harvesting, according to the local crop planting period, crops are planted for 2-3 crops by a sowing and field management technology after minimum tillage of a parcel or with zero tillage. According to the method, ultra-deep tillage and subsoiling smash-ridging cultivation is employed, and normal growth and development and normal maturing and harvesting under the zero irrigation condition are guaranteedby the matched seed soaking and pregermination technology, seed sowing rate proper increasing technology and sowing depth proper increasing technology.
