Abstract

The invention relates to a log collection method and device based on a host machine, computer equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps of writing logs of application programs in containers into the log directories of the containers; mounting the log directory of each container to a fixed directory of a host machine running the container; deploying a log collection tool in each host machine, and collecting log data stored in the fixed directory of the corresponding host machine. According to the scheme, the logs of the application programs are written into the log directories of the containers, then the log directories of the containers are mounted into the fixed directories of the host machines, the log data in the fixed directories in the host machines is collected, an auxiliary container does not need to be arranged for log collection, and the problem that resource consumption is large due to log collection is avoided; and moreover, logs of all containers and application programs can be accurately collected by setting one tool on the host machines, and the log data can be better collected.
