Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a software upgrading method and device for a software set, equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a virtual software set received from a server in an upgrading process based on upgrading detection software, wherein the virtual software set records software IDs of multiple pieces of software in the software set and installation package downloading addresses corresponding to the software IDs; determining an installation version number of a current installation version of the software in the operating system according to the software ID; determining the latest version number of the software based on the upgrade detection software; comparing the installation version number with the latest version number, and determining to-be-upgraded software and an installation package downloading address and an installation directory corresponding to the to-be-upgraded software; downloading the installation package from the installation package downloading address corresponding to the to-be-upgraded software, and installing the installation package to the corresponding installation directory. Based on the technical means, in the process of downloading and installing the installation package, only the installation package of the to-be-upgraded software needs to be downloaded and installed, so that the upgrading flow and the upgrading time of OTA are saved.
