Abstract

The invention discloses a client identification method and device, a storage medium and network equipment, wherein the method comprises the steps of obtaining an MAC address of a client when any client is associated with the network equipment; searching and matching the MAC address of the client according to a preset user information table, wherein the user information table comprises MAC addresses of all clients associated with the network equipment and feature information corresponding to each MAC address, when the MAC address of the client is successfully matched, marking that the client is successfully identified, when the MAC address matching of the client fails, performing to-be-detected marking on the client, and when a data packet sent by the client is received, obtaining feature information of the client according to the data packet; and searching and matching the feature information of the client according to the user information table, and identifying the client according to a matching result. According to the technical scheme, client identification can be rapidly carried out on the premise that the performance of network equipment is not affected basically, and the identification accuracy is improved.
