Embodiment 1

[0267] Embodiment 1: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE), comprising: receiving a CSI reporting configuration for full-duplex channel state information (CSI) reporting; monitoring a CSI reference based at least in part on the CSI reporting configuration signal; and transmitting a full-duplex CSI report including uplink bandwidth information based at least in part on the monitoring.

Embodiment 2

[0268] Embodiment 2: The method of embodiment 1, wherein sending a full-duplex CSI report comprises sending a full-duplex CSI report including the uplink bandwidth information including channel state information indicative of a plurality of different uplink bandwidths.

Embodiment 3

[0269] Embodiment 3: the method according to embodiment 1 or embodiment 2, wherein receiving a CSI report configuration includes: receiving a CSI report configuration indicating an uplink bandwidth, wherein the uplink bandwidth information indicates CSI of the uplink bandwidth.

Abstract

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A full duplex user equipment (UE) may provide a channel state information (CSI) report to a base station to enable the base station to schedule simultaneous the uplink and downlink communications for the full duplex UE. For example, the base station may transmit a CSI report configuration to the UE that indicates for the UE to report a full duplex CSI. In some cases, the CSI report configuration may include the UE to report CSI under a full duplex mode with or without an indication of an uplink bandwidth. Accordingly, the UE may calculate and report the self-full duplex mode CSI to the base station according to the received configuration. The base station may then determine a radio resource allocation and transport format for downlink data transfer and for uplink data transfer under the full duplex mode.
