The invention discloses a preparation method of a catalytic
electrode for
ammonia production through electrochemical reduction of
nitrate or
nitrite, which comprises the following steps: soaking
metal in
hydrochloric acid, soaking the
metal in a hydroboron solution, and washing and
drying to obtain the catalytic
electrode. The catalytic
electrode provided by the invention is simple in preparation process and low in cost, and shows excellent
ammonia preparation rate and electrocatalytic selectivity in
ammonia preparation through electrocatalytic reduction of
nitrate or
nitrite.
