Quantum key distribution system and method based on time-division multiplexing

ActiveCN107135071AIntervention results are goodSimplify redundancyKey distribution for secure communicationTime-division optical multiplex systemsContinuous lightPolarization-maintaining optical fiber
The invention discloses a quantum key distribution system and method based on time-division multiplexing. The system comprises a transmitting end and a receiving end, wherein a laser capable of transmitting continuous light and single photon is arranged at the transmitting end, and the laser transmits the signal light and the synchronization light through a time division multiplexing way; furthermore, a polarization beam splitter is added at the receiving end of the system to decompose the signal into two vertical polarization states, the inference under respective polarization state is finished by use of a polarization maintaining optical fiber interference ring, thereby obtaining a good interference result; the influence on the interference result by the light polarization state influenced by the bi-refraction effect in the optical fiber transmission process is avoided; and meanwhile, a deviation correction system is abandoned, the system redundancy is simplified, and the production cost is lowered; the single laser is driven to transmit the signal light and the synchronization light in the time-division multiplexing way I the system, the complexity and the production cost of the system are lowered.

Generation device and method for wide-range reconfigurable UWB (Ultra-Wideband) based on cascaded DE-MZMs (Dual-Electrode Mach-Zehnder Modulators)

ActiveCN107395285APolarity adjustableElectromagnetic transmittersContinuous lightUltra-wideband
The invention discloses a generation device and method for a wide-range reconfigurable UWB (Ultra-Wideband) based on cascaded DE-MZMs (Dual-Electrode Mach-Zehnder Modulators), belongs to the technical field of the ultra-wide band and aims at generating any first-order to fifth-order UWB signals and realizing adjustable pulse polarity, under the condition of not changing a system structure. The device comprises a laser, an optical coupler, a first-level DE-MZM, a second-level DE-MZM, a Gaussian pulse signal generator, a first photoelectric detector, a second photoelectric detector and an amplifier. The laser is connected with the optical coupler. According to the method, the continuous light generated by the laser passes through the optical coupler and then is divided into two ways; Gaussian pulse signals are attenuated and delayed and then are respectively input into two arms of the first-level DE-MZM; the signals at two arms of the first-level DE-MZM are converted into electric pulses by the first photoelectric detector; the signals are amplified, attenuated and delayed by the amplifier and then are input into the two arms of the second-level DE-MZM for secondary modulation; and after the modulation, the signals are output.
