A disclosed separation apparatus for iron-filing waste slag comprises a motor base, a conveying belt and a motor driving the conveying belt to operate, and is characterized in that a position, at the initial position of the conveying belt, of the motor base is provided with a feeding bin, a discharging port at the bottom of the feeding bin is provided with a sensor; the rear of feeding bin is provided with a plurality of electromagnet rods installed on the motor base through a support, a material distribution bin is arranged at a position corresponding to the end of the conveying belt and below the motor base and is installed on support legs of the motor base through a rail, and the material distribution bin is connected with a servo motor through a gear and a rack. The separation apparatus overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art, and is reasonable in designed structure. According to the separation apparatus, the electromagnet is arranged on the conveying belt for adsorbing iron filings in iron-filing waste slag, after the sensor senses that conveying of the iron-filing waste slag in the feeding bin is finished, the electromagnet is power-off and iron filings fall on the conveying belt and are conveyed out, so that the purpose of separating iron filings from waste slag is realized. The separation apparatus helps to save labor, and is high in efficiency, high in separation rate for iron filings from iron-filing waste slag and wide in application scope.
