The invention discloses a
milestone. The
milestone comprises a highway number and highway mileage, wherein the highway number and the highway mileage can be directly attached to the
road surface of a highway. The
milestone is arranged on a road shoulder on the right side of a
driveway of the highway or on the
road surface of the central position of an emergency parking strip. The highway number and the highway mileage are formed by spraying coatings arranged on the
road surface of the highway, by
direct bonding of
fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) fonts on the road surface or by bonding of an FRP plate containing the highway number and the highway mileage on the road surface of the highway. Compared with milestones of a certain height in the prior art, the milestone has the advantages that the height is low, the
driving safety is not affected, automobile tires are not damaged easily, and the milestone is easy to maintain, high in safety, small in
material consumption due to the low height, low in cost and not easy to damage. The invention also provides the highway with the milestone and two construction methods of the milestone.
