3 results about "Ranging" patented technology

Ranging is a process or method to determine the distance from one location or position to another location or position. Another term for this method is lateration. Further development led to cooperative systems, where both locations are equipped with respective apparatus and thus provide bilateral measuring and to multilateral measurement between a larger set of locations, see multilateration. Members in the class of active ranging systems operate with unilateral transmission and passive reflections, as SONAR, RADAR and LIDAR. Special ranging makes use of actively synchronized transmission and travel time measurements, hence the time difference between several received signals is used to determine exact distances. This principle is used with SatNav, the Satellite Navigation class of systems. In conjunction with a standardized model of the Globe surface a certain location on the Globe may be determined with high accuracy. Ranging methods without accurate time synchronization of the receiver are called pseudorange, used e.g. in GPS positioning.

The invention provides a method for determining a service range of a satellite-based augmentation system, which comprises the following steps of: selecting a target research area, resolving satellite augmentation orbit/clock correction and user difference ranging error information of a global navigation satellite system in a current epoch, calculating an orbit/clock correction comprehensive error of each satellite projected on a grid point in the current epoch, and determining the service range of the satellite-based augmentation system. Counting the UDRE envelope probability of grid points in a target area, calculating the delay error value of an ionosphere of the grid points and the vertical error information of the ionosphere of the grid, counting the GIVE envelope probability of the grid points in the target area, solving a union set for a public area under the integrity parameter envelope requirement, and determining a final SBAS service area. The union overlapped area is the final service area. On the basis of the requirement for avoiding the integrity risk event, the integrity parameter corrects the residual error of the corresponding correction with the 99.9% envelope probability to form the envelope, the processing method is reasonable, and the processing efficiency is high.

Distance measuring method, device and system thereof

InactiveCN109444870ARealize high-precision computingHigh precisionRadio wave reradiation/reflectionFrequency mixerPhase difference
The invention discloses a distance measuring method. The method measures a distance by a mixer, and comprises the steps of dividing the same radio frequency signal function into two signals of different phases and different phases; receiving one of the signals by a LO end of the mixer, and using a RF end to receive the reflected signal of the other signal at a measured distance; calculating the measured distance according to the phase difference and the frequency of the input signal of the LO end and the RF end. The method utilizes the device characteristics of the mixer, converts the signalsinto phase difference data, performs distance measurement, and has high precision and wide measurement range; the invention also provides a distance measuring device and system, a pair of antennas (atransmitting antenna and a receiving antenna) are only needed to achieve high-precision ranging, there is no special requirements on the signal form (continuous wave and pulses), and the system and device are conducive to the achievement of high-precision calculation of measurement parameters.
