The invention relates to a method for producing a gasoline blending component from dry gas. The method comprises that dry gas contacts benzene on a catalyst, wherein the catalyst is a binder-free ZSM-5 molecular sieve with a silicon aluminum mole ratio SiO2/Al2O3 of 30-900 and a crystal grain diameter of 10-800 nm, and is treated with water vapor. According to the present invention, the method can be used to produce the high-octane value clean gasoline blending component through the reaction of the refinery dry gas and the benzene.
