1 results about "Wilkinson power divider" patented technology

In the field of microwave engineering and circuit design, the Wilkinson Power Divider is a specific class of power divider circuit that can achieve isolation between the output ports while maintaining a matched condition on all ports. The Wilkinson design can also be used as a power combiner because it is made up of passive components and hence reciprocal. First published by Ernest J. Wilkinson in 1960, this circuit finds wide use in radio frequency communication systems utilizing multiple channels since the high degree of isolation between the output ports prevents crosstalk between the individual channels.

Wilkinson power divider capable of enhancing low-frequency port isolation

The invention discloses a Wilkinson power divider capable of enhancing low-frequency port isolation, which can realize a low-frequency-band coupling suppression function by replacing an isolation resistor element of a seven-section one-to-two traditional Wilkinson power divider into a capacitor-resistor series network, thereby improving the isolation between low-frequency-band ports. The isolation degree and the transmission coefficient of the Wilkinson power divider with the direct current suppression function can be visually observed through the vector network analyzer, and passive testing is achieved. Compared with a traditional Wilkinson power divider, the seven-section Wilkinson power divider has the advantages that coupling between output ports can be effectively restrained in a low-frequency band, the port isolation of the low-frequency band is improved, the low-frequency characteristic of the power divider is improved, and the proportional bandwidth of the traditional seven-section Wilkinson power divider is improved from 13: 1 to 20: 1 under the condition that the size is not increased.
