Abstract

The invention discloses a method for sending a channel measurement pilot frequency in an LTE-A system, relating to a radio communication system. In the method, a network side sends the channel measurement pilot frequency CSI-RS of each antenna port used currently on a shared resource of LTE and LTE-A, wherein the CSI-RS of at least one antenna port is sent in a mode of sending a common pilot frequency in an LTE system, while the CSI-RS of other antenna ports are sent on a downlink physical channel. The technical scheme of the invention has little influence on LTE users, can guarantee the property of channel measurement and improve the throughput of the LTE-A system. In addition, the technical scheme of the invention is beneficial for LTE-Advanced users to improve quality of link.
