Abstract

The invention relates to a light source excitation device for a geological sample age determination instrument, which comprises a base, a cover plate, a light source control panel, a light source module and an automated route management (ARM) machine, wherein the ARM machine, the cover plate and the light source control panel are fixed on the base by fastening screws; the ARM machine is connectedwith the light source control panel by a connecting line; the light source control panel is connected with the light source module by a light source control line; the cover plate is provided with a detection optical filter; the base is provided with a guide rail, a sample heat insulation piece and a light source cavity; the sample heat insulation piece is positioned at the lower end of the light source cavity; the light source module consists of a module box and an excitation optical filter; and the module box is internally provided with a light-emitting diode and a detection photoelectric triode. The ARM machine can be used for completing the control for the light source excitation device and other functions, so that the light source excitation device is simple in operation, high in degree of automation and accurate in determination data. The light source excitation device for the geological sample age determination instrument is compact in structure, small in size, light in weight as well as convenient to install, replace and carry; and the light intensity of an excitation light source reaches 50-70mW/cm<2> at the place which is 30mm away from the excitation light source.
