Communication connection establishing method and network element

The invention provides a communication connection establishing method and a network element, and aims to solve the problem of low standardization level of communication connection realized between the network elements of a self-organized network in the prior art. The method mainly comprises the following steps of: sending an inquiry message comprising a target access network entity identifier to an intermediate network element; receiving the transport layer address information sent by the intermediate network element, wherein the transport layer address information is obtained by the intermediate network element according to the target access network entity identifier; and establishing communication connection with the target access network entity according to the transport layer address information, wherein the intermediate network element is a network element management system, or a second access network entity or user equipment. Through the method, the standardization level of communication connection between the network elements in a self-organized network can be improved.
