Abstract

The invention provides an automatic generator controller and a control method of the automatic generator controller. The automatic generator controller comprises a generator start control part, a generator output control part and a generator shutdown control part. The automatic generator controller is compact in structure and has complete functions. A relay is directly connected with a mains supply and can quickly judge the make-and-break state of the mains supply and automatically start a generator for power generation in time. Meanwhile, as a certain delay is set, the situation that the generator is started under the flash-break condition of the mains supply, so that waste is caused is avoided. Besides, after the automatic generator controller is adopted, base station maintenance personnel do not need to manually and repeatedly shut down an oil engine, and therefore manpower and material resources are saved.
