AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

This technology makes use of an extractor that removes unwanted materials from crude oil by adding small amounts of water into it with another chemical called methylenolamine (MEA). By doing this, we can make better products like oxygen gasoline without containing any dangerous compounds such as nitrogen oxides. Additionally, these processes have lower costs than traditional methods due to less expensive starting materials used during processing. Overall, they provide technical benefits over existing technologies while reducing waste and improving productivity at larger scales.

Problems solved by technology

Technological Problem: Current techniques for producing pure methylenemilate (MOM) involve complex processes involving extraction with various types of chemical agents like acetone, formamide, ammonia, etc., followed by separation into different fractions based on their specific properties. These steps make it difficult to achieve desired levels of MOM product without causing environmental concerns due to harmful substances released during manufacturing procedures.

Embodiment 1

[0016] Add 10kg of water to 100kg of methylal with a mass concentration of 91% and fully stir it. After standing still for 20 minutes, separate layers to obtain 63.5kg of the upper layer solution. Add 2.0kg of anhydrous magnesium sulfate (2.0kg of anhydrous The water absorption of magnesium sulfate is 2.0kg, and the water content of the upper layer of 63.5kg is about 1.9kg), and stirred for 5 minutes, after drying, the desiccant is filtered out to obtain 60.1kg of methylal with a mass concentration of 99.6%, and the obtained lower layer solution is methylal , a mixture of methanol and water, methylal and methanol can be recovered through rectification; hydrous magnesium sulfate can be recovered and reused after dehydration.

Embodiment 2

[0018] Add 30kg of water to 200kg of methylal with a mass concentration of 86% and stir well, stand still for 30 minutes, and separate layers to obtain 85.6kg of the upper layer solution. Add 10kg of anhydrous calcium chloride (10kg of anhydrous chloride Calcium water absorption is 9.7kg, 85.6kg upper layer solution has a water content of about 2.6kg), and stirred for 10 minutes, dried and filtered out the desiccant to obtain 81.1kg of methylal with a mass concentration of 99.7%, and the obtained lower layer solution is methylal The mixture of , methanol and water can be used for the synthesis of methylal; the calcium chloride in water can be reused after dehydration.

Embodiment 3

[0020] Add 150g of water to 500g of methylal with a mass concentration of 86% and stir well, let stand for 35 minutes, use a separatory funnel to separate layers, and obtain 393g of the upper layer solution, add 10g of molecular sieves to the upper layer solution, and stir for 5 minutes with a glass cup , Filter out the desiccant to obtain 381g of methylal with a mass concentration of 99.5%, and 257g of the resulting lower layer solution is a mixture of methylal, methanol and water; the water-containing molecular sieves are recycled after dehydration.

Abstract

The invention discloses a methylal purifying method. The method comprises the following steps: adding water with the weight 0.2-3 times the weight of methylal into methylal with the mass concentration being smaller than 95%, fully and uniformly stirring, standing for 20-40min for layering, adding a drying agent to the obtained upper layer in order to dry the upper layer, stirring for 5-15min, filtering out the drying agent to obtain methylal with the mass concentration being greater than 99.5%, and dehydrating the water-containing drying agent to recycle the drying agent, wherein the absorbed water weight of the drying agent is 1-12 times the water weight of methylal. Water is added to methylal as an extractant in order to realize extraction, so the cost is low; and the purifying method also has the advantages of simplicity, mild conditions, large purifying capacity, industrial continuous production benefiting, stable and reliable mass concentration and no other impurities. Methylal is purified through rectification by using a high pressure rectification system, so the method has the advantages of low mass requirements of a raw material, high purification yield, less energy, industrial continuous production benefiting, no emission of harmful substances, and environmental protection benefiting.
