Embodiment Construction

[0034] figure 1 A perspective view of the goods transfer device 1 is schematically shown. The cargo transfer device may for example be used in conjunction with an automated storage system (not shown).

[0035] The goods transfer device 1 comprises a plurality of channels 3 arranged parallel to each other. Each of the lanes 3 comprises a receiving side 3 a for introducing goods 50 and a dispensing side 3 b. Goods 50 introduced into the channel 3 will slide along the channel 3 all the way to the delivery side 3b and from there will be transferred to a storage system not shown.

[0036] Each of the channels 3 comprises a support surface 5 for receiving goods 50 . Each support surface 5 is provided on the side with a guide surface 7 extending at an angle suitable for the cargo 50 relative to the support surface 5 . In the exemplary embodiment shown in the figures, the angle between the guide surface 7 and the support surface 5 is 90°. The support surface 5 and the guide surface

Abstract

The invention relates to a goods transfer device (1) for an automatic warehouse, comprising at least one channel (3) with a feed side (3a) for introducing goods (50) and a dispensing side (3b) for transferring the goods to the warehouse, said channel (3) having a support surface (5) for receiving goods (50). According to the invention, the channel (3) has a guide surface (7) arranged laterally on the support surface (5), the support surface (5) is inclined in the direction of the dispensing side (3b) relative to a horizontal surface (100), and the support surface (5) is inclined in the direction of the guide surface (7) at an angle of inclination (a) relative to the horizontal surface (100). The support surface (5) can be pivoted from a goods receiving position into a goods dispensing position, the angle of inclination alpha of the support surface in the goods receiving position being greater than in the goods dispensing position.
