Benefits of technology

The technical effect of this patented system is its ability to connect devices wirelessly for better management by connecting them together on different bases or even within an area where they are located. This prevents interference caused when moving around during cardiothoracic surgeries. Additionally, it allows medical staff members to access their data remotely without having physical contact while still being able to see what other healthcare providers have shown up about doing certain things like treatments.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed by this patents relates to improving upon current methods used during cardiovascular surgeries such as measuring body temperatures or pulse rates with external devices that require physical contact between them. These techniques have several drawbacks including wasteful labor hours spent checking and adjustments, potential interference from outside sources (wiring), limited activity capabilities due to being tied together at different points within an operating room, and lack of real-time data collection capability.

Abstract

The invention discloses a postoperative care monitor for the cardiac surgery department. The monitor comprises a shell and a monitor sticker, wherein a wireless communication device and a first bluetooth device are arranged on two sides of the top surface of the shell; a display screen is arranged at the upper part of the front side of the shell; a comprehensive control processor is arranged inside the shell, and is provided with an information processing module, an information analysis module and an information output module. According to the postoperative care monitor, equipment and the monitor sticker are in wireless connection by adopting a bluetooth mode, so that the connecting wire between the equipment and the monitor sticker is prevented from influencing the moving range of a patient, meanwhile, the equipment can be connected with a plurality of monitor stickers since the equipment and the monitor stickers are connected by adopting bluetooth channels, patients in the same sickroom can be monitored at the same time, and monitor information of each patient can be uploaded to the computer of a nurse station by virtue of the wireless communication device, so that a plurality of patients can be monitored by one piece of equipment, and the utilization rate of monitor equipment can be improved.
