Abstract

The invention discloses a control method applied to an electronic device. The electronic device comprises an iris recognition module, wherein the iris recognition module comprises an infrared light source and an infrared camera, and the infrared camera comprises an infrared image sensor. The control method comprises the steps of collecting a human face image; processing the human face image to recognize a human eye area; controlling the infrared light source to open when the infrared image sensor starts exposing with a row in which the human eye area is; and controlling the infrared light source to close when the infrared image sensor finishes exposing the row in which the human eye area is. The invention further discloses an electronic device and a computer readable storage medium. According to the control method, electronic device and computer readable storage medium, the infrared light source is opened when the infrared image sensor images the human eye area, and the infrared light source is closed or kept closed when the infrared image sensor does not image the human eye area, so that the power consumption of the infrared light source is lowered and the infrared light source is prevented heating.
