The invention relates to an earphone plug and an earphone. The earphone plug comprises an insulating ring, a conductive part and a base; the conductive part comprises a first tail end and a second tail end; the earphone plug also comprises a conductive pen point, a conductive core, a holding ring and a wire, wherein the conductive pen point is arranged on the first tail end; the conductive core is built in the earphone plug, and comprises a first end and a second end which are arranged face to face, wherein the first end of the conductive core is electrically connected with the conductive pen point; the holding ring is arranged at one end, opposite to the second tail end, of the base; the wire is built in the earphone plug, and one end of the wire is electrically connected with the second end of the conductive core while the other end of the wire is electrically connected with the holding ring; and when a user holds the holding ring and when the conductive pen point is in contact with a capacitor type touch panel, the current in the touch position between the capacitor type touch panel and the conductive pen point is changed. By adoption of the earphone plug and the earphone, the number of carry-on objects by people can be reduced.
