Abstract

The invention discloses a novel windlass. The novel windlass comprises a motor bracket assembly and a cable lifter assembly; bottom feet are fixedly arranged at the bottom of the motor bracket assembly; a hydraulic motor is fixedly mounted on the motor bracket assembly; a main shaft is mounted above the motor bracket assembly; the main shaft respectively penetrates through the center of the cablelifter assembly and the center of a big gear; two groups of hydraulic motor small gears are arranged on one side of the big gear; and the hydraulic motor small gears are arranged within a gearbox. Thenovel windlass has the advantages that the structural principle is simple; the working efficiency is high; weighing anchor of ships can be rapidly realized; and as the two groups of hydraulic motor small gears are arranged, the weighing anchor efficiency can be further enhanced.
