Abstract

The invention discloses a two-dimensional microstrip leaky wave antenna with a shaped unit. The leaky wave antenna comprises an antenna body. The antenna body comprises a dielectric plate, a metal transmission line, a metal ground plate, the shaped unit and a feed joint arranged on one side of the dielectric plate. The shaped unit comprises one or more of a first rectangular unit, a second rectangular unit loaded with a unitary short stud, and a third rectangular unit loaded with a periodic short stud. The first rectangular unit, the second rectangular unit and the third rectangular unit are alternately spliced on both sides of the metal transmission line. The shaped unit and the metal ground plate are oppositely arranged on both sides of the dielectric plate. The center feed pin of the feed joint is connected with the metal transmission line. The outer conductor of the feed joint is connected with the metal ground plate.
