Abstract

The invention provides a side slope wide-range distance measuring instrument and a side slope deformation real-time monitoring method. The side slope wide-range distance measuring instrument comprisesa guide rod, a guide shell arranged at the outer side of the guide rod and a guide base arranged below the guide shell; the outer wall of the guide rod is connected with the inner wall of the guide shell through a bearing; a first angle measuring device for measuring the rotary angle of the guide rod is arranged in the guide shell; a traction rope winds the outer wall of the guide rod, one end ofthe traction rope is fixed to the guide rod, and the other end of the traction rope penetrates through the guide shell; the guide base is connected with the guide shell through the bearing; the distance measuring instrument further comprises a second angle measuring device for measuring the rotary angle of the guide shell. A calculation method for distance change between every two adjacent distance measuring instruments and position coordinates of the distance measuring instruments after side slope deformation is put forward. By means of the side slope wide-range distance measuring instrument, rock and earth mass can be monitored in real time, and sliding influence area range and stratum moving conditions are determined.
