[0031] In the situation shown in the figure, motor vehicle 1 is to be parked in garage 2 . Garage 2 is a double garage with two parking spaces 3,4. The motor vehicle 1 has a control device 5 via which a plurality of vehicle devices 6 , 7 can be controlled in order to automatically or assisted guide the motor vehicle along a previously learned route 9 , 10 . The vehicle device 6 is the motor or engine of the motor vehicle 1 and the vehicle device 7 is the steering of the motor vehicle 1 . Furthermore, the control device 5 controls brakes (not shown) of the motor vehicle 1 . If it is desired to guide the motor vehicle 1 at least partially manually, the control device 5 can activate the vehicle device 8 , namely the display device, in order to give the driver driving instructions. The driver can thus be assisted in guiding the motor vehicle along the previously learned routes 9 , 10 .

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for operating a motor vehicle (1), comprising the steps of: ascertaining at least one path data record describing a respective travelled trajectory (9, 10) of the ora respective further motor vehicle (1), and sending the path data record to a vehicle-external memory device (26), providing at least one guidance data record for the motor vehicle (1) from the memorydevice (26), each guidance data record being associated with one of the trajectories (9, 10) and being ascertained on the basis of the path data record describing the respective associated trajectory(9, 10), and actuating the vehicle device (6, 7, 8) of the motor vehicle (1) on the basis of the provided guidance data record, or, if multiple instances of the guidance data records are provided bythe memory device (26), an instance of the provided guidance data records that is selected in the vehicle, to output a driving instruction relating to the associated trajectory (9, 10) to a driver ofthe motor vehicle (1) and/or to perform at least one driving intervention.
