Benefits of technology

This patented technology provides an improved way of growing fruits called tangerines at higher elevations without being affected by environmental factors like rain or snow. It allows for more efficient production with less water consumption compared to regular farms where there may be issues due to poor weather patterns. Additionally, this new approach helps create better greenhouse gas emissions reduction through reducing CO2 levels during peak periods. Overall, these technical improvements help improve the overall healthiness and economic viability of producing high-purity (fresh) tomatoes from mountainous regions around them worldwide.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical solution described by this patents relates to improving vegetable production at higher elevations where there are fewer sunlight shining periods or low temperatures compared with other parts of the world.

Abstract

The invention relates to methods for cultivating high-quality fresh-eating amygdalus persica L., in particular to a method for cultivating amygdalus persica L. in a high-altitude area. The method comprises the steps of selecting local stock varieties with strong stress resistance, cultivating seedlings for 2-3 years according to a conventional method, and selecting robust plants which are 0.8-1 m in height and 1.5-2 cm in ground diameter from the seedlings as transplanting seedlings of amygdalus persica L.; then transplanting the seedlings to the high-altitude area with the altitude of 3,000 m or above according to the planting density that the plant spacing is 1 m, and the row spacing is 4 m. According to the method, unique natural environment advantages and regional advantages of the high-altitude area of Tibet are utilized, and through reasonable close planting, high yield, optimal production and special production are achieved. Besides, through out-of-season supply, the gap of the market is filled up, the price of fresh fruits is high, and the economic benefit is obvious.
