Abstract

The invention discloses a simple grafting tool special for pitaya. The tool comprises a cutting tool of which a body is of a hollow structure, one end of the body structure forms a holding end, the other end of the body structure is provided with a blade, and the blade is distributed at a hollow port along the body structure to form a cutting end. The invention further discloses a rapid grafting method utilizing the simple grafting tool special for the pitaya. The method comprises the following steps that proper time is selected for grafting work, a robust rootstock plant and a scion bud plantexcellent in variety are selected, a scion bud with an areole is cut out by means of the dedicated grafting tool, a corresponding cutting opening is cut out on rootstock, the scion bud with the areole is placed in the cutting opening of the rootstock, the areole with the exposed scion bud is glued and fixed, an original areole on the rootstock is cut out, the rootstock is sleeved with a plastic bag, moisturizing is conducted till the grafted portion heals completely, and then the bag is removed. Accordingly, pitaya grafting and seedling raising and pitaya high grafting for changing breed become easier, operation is easy, the efficiency is high, the number of ears for single bud grafting is small, and popularization is facilitated.
