Abstract

The invention discloses a tunnel initial support steel arch installation device and a using method. The device comprises a connecting rod, a supporting platform, a rotating mechanism, a grabbing platform and a monitoring mechanism. The steel arch installation device is connected with a hydraulic excavator suspension arm through the connecting rod, the rotating mechanism is connected with the connecting rod through the supporting platform, the rotating mechanism enables the grabbing platform to turn over relative to the rotating mechanism, therefore, the installation angle of the grabbing platform is adjusted, and accurate installation of a steel arch is facilitated. The grabbing platform comprises two lantern ring grabbers and an electromagnetic mechanism and can stably grab the steel arch. The monitoring mechanism is an intelligent monitoring mechanism based on a neural network algorithm, and can assist an operator in adjusting the steel arch to the corresponding installation position, and accurate installation of the steel arch in a tunnel on the dark light condition is achieved.
