Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of oil and gas seismic exploration, in particular to a method for realizing pre-stack three-dimensional reverse time migration by utilizing a checkpoint technology based on an FPGA. The method comprises the steps of setting checkpoint parameters on a CPU platform through software design according to 3D-RTM calculation tasks with different scales and the resource quantity of a selected FPGA chip; and enabling the wave field data calculation time and the required data transmission time to be dynamic so as to achieve the effect of eliminating the I/O bottleneck. The resource utilization rate of the FPGA is improved, the calculation time of the whole calculation task is greatly shortened, and then the acceleration efficiency of the whole heterogeneous calculation is improved. According to the invention, the optimal FPGA and CPU data interaction scheme is set according to the characteristics of data volumes with different scales, so that the whole computing resource utilization rate is optimal. Meanwhile, dynamic adjustment parameters are realized at a CPU platform end through a software architecture, so that the expansibility of the method is greatly enhanced, the utilization rate of computing resources of any FPGA selected for 3D-RTM computing tasks with different scales is improved, and higher compatibility is achieved.
