3 results about "Forced convection" patented technology

Forced convection is a mechanism, or type of transport in which fluid motion is generated by an external source (like a pump, fan, suction device, etc.). Alongside natural convection, thermal radiation and thermal conduction it is one of the methods of heat transfer and allows significant amounts of heat energy to be transported very efficiently.

The invention provides a train wheel cryogenic treatment device. The train wheel cryogenic treatment device comprises a box body and a nozzle, the box body is internally provided with a rotating shaft, the rotating shaft can rotate in the box body, and a train wheel can be mounted on the rotating shaft; and the nozzle is arranged in the box body, communicates with a liquid nitrogen pipe outside the box body, and is opposite to the tread of the train wheel on the rotating shaft. The invention also provides a treatment method of the train wheel cryogenic treatment device. According to the trainwheel cryogenic treatment device, the train wheel is mounted on the rotating shaft, the rotating shaft rotates to drive the train wheel, liquid nitrogen enters the nozzle through the liquid nitrogen pipe, the liquid nitrogen is directly sprayed to the tread of the train wheel through the nozzle to be cooled, on one hand, the low-temperature nitrogen sprayed by the nozzle and the tread of the trainwheel are subjected to forced convection heat exchange, and on the other hand, the rest surfaces of the train wheel and the environmental low-temperature gas in a cryogenic box are subjected to convection heat exchange through the rotation of the train wheel. After the train wheel is subjected to cryogenic treatment through the device, the anti-cracking performance and the wear resistance of thewheel can be improved.

The invention relates to an ejection cooling type thermoelectric power generation device, and belongs to the technical field of ocean thermoelectric energy power generation. The ejection cooling type thermoelectric power generation device comprises a thermoelectric power generation cavity, wherein the bottom part of the thermoelectric power generation cavity can be connected with a hot liquid port, the top part of the thermoelectric power generation cavity is provided with a shrinkage pipe, and high-temperature hot liquid of the hot liquid port flows out of the top shrinkage pipe through the thermoelectric power generation cavity; a thermoelectric piece arranged on the outer wall of the thermoelectric power generation cavity; and a drainage cover sleeving the thermoelectric power generation cavity, wherein a liquid passing gap is formed between the drainage cover and the outer wall of the thermoelectric power generation cavity; pressure difference is formed between the outlet of the shrinkage pipe and the drainage cover, and low-temperature seawater outside the drainage cover flows into the liquid passing gap through the bottom part of the drainage cover under pressure driving and flows out together with the high-temperature hot liquid at the top part; and jet flow erupted by the hot liquid is used for driving surrounding low-temperature seawater to flow, an original natural convection cooling mode is converted into a more efficient forced convection cooling mode, and the output power of the thermoelectric piece is increased along with the increase of the temperature of the cold end and the hot end of the thermoelectric piece. The ejection cooling type thermoelectric power generation device does not need extra electric energy consumption, does not comprise moving parts, and is high in working reliability.
