4 results about "Lightning rod" patented technology

A lightning rod (US, AUS) or lightning conductor (UK) is a metal rod mounted on a structure and intended to protect the structure from a lightning strike. If lightning hits the structure, it will preferentially strike the rod and be conducted to ground through a wire, instead of passing through the structure, where it could start a fire or cause electrocution. Lightning rods are also called finials, air terminals, or strike termination devices.

Elevating high-pole lamp

The invention discloses an elevating high-pole lamp. The elevating high-pole lamp comprises a base, a hollow lamp pole and a lamp panel; the lamp panel and a top lightning rod device are arranged at the top end of the lamp pole; the elevating high-pole lamp further comprises a lamp panel supporting mechanism for supporting the lamp panel ad a lamp panel elevating mechanism for elevating the lamp panel; a first driving device for unfolding and folding the lamp panel supporting mechanism and a second driving device for elevating the lamp panel elevating mechanism are arranged within the base; the lamp panel supporting mechanism comprises an upper umbrella stand, a lower umbrella stand, an upper supporting arm, a lower supporting arm, and a connection structure and a mounting structure of the upper and lower supporting arms; a fixed pulley block is arranged to surround the top of the lamp pole; a second ring-pull is arranged on an upper surface of the lamp panel; the second ring-pull is connected with a second steel wire rope; the second steel wire rope is wound around the fixed pulley block and then is connected with the second driving device for elevating the lamp panel. The elevating high-pole lamp is stable in structure, long in service life, easy to mount and demount, and convenient to repair, and thus is capable of better adaptive to complex and changeable service environments.
