Abstract

The invention relates to the new use of geldanamycin derivative, particularly to an application of the geldanamycin derivative in preparing drugs for treating chemotherapy-induced alopecia. The invention provides an application of geldanamycin derivative 17-allylaniino-17-demethoxy-geldanamycin (17-AAG) in preparing drugs for treating chemotherapy-induced alopecia. The inventive geldanamycin derivative 17-AAG can be used for developing new drugs for treating chemotherapy-induced alopecia, which have reliable safety and can remarkably improve the life quality of chemotherapy patients and relieve mental pressure of patients, so as to better cooperate with cancer treatment.
