[0013]Quality of Life is a widely used term to capture and quantify the general well-being of individuals and societies. One group of researchers defines Quality of Life as: “an overall general wellbeing that comprises objective descriptors and subjective evaluations of physical, material, social, and emotional wellbeing together with the extent of personal development and purposeful activity, all weighted by a personal set of values” (Felce, D., & Perry, J. “Quality of Life: Its definition and measurement research,” Research in Developmental Disabilities, 16, 51-74, 1995).
