Benefits of technology

The technical effect of this patented technology allows for efficient movement between different networks without affecting their overall performance. It involves moving route tables from one network into another while keeping track of which connections are being used during its migration. This helps ensure smooth service continues even if there may be temporary interruptions caused due to equipment failure or other issues such as overloading servers.

Problems solved by technology

Technological Problem addressed in this patented Patents describes how To address these issues, there exist various methods called Intermediate Network Path Broadcast (IGP) Distance Vector Algorithm (IDVPA)). These techniques aim at optimizing traffic loads within specific areas while avoiding unnecessary transfers across domains. However, they require manual configurations when changing connections frequently, leading to increased workloads and potential delays. Therefore, Dynamic Load Sharing (DLSS) algorithms were developed to optimize resource allocation among neighbor nodes based upon their own path preferences instead of requiring them individually.

Embodiment Construction

[0033] The embodiment of the present invention is Peer-based distributed BGP, such as image 3 As shown, it is a flow chart of Embodiment 1 of the BGP dynamic migration method in the embodiment of the present invention, which specifically includes:

[0034] 010. Receive a dynamic migration command, and create a virtual Peer and backup Transmission Control Protocol (Transmission Control Protocol, TCP for short) connection according to the dynamic migration command;

[0035] 020. Obtain the configuration information of the migration Peer on the source BGP process and the routing information in the first entry routing table of the migration Peer on the source BGP process, and store the routing information of the first entry routing table into the created migration Peer in the target BGP In the second entry routing table of the process, route selection is carried out according to the stored routing information, and the configuration information of the received migration Peer on the s

Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a BGP dynamic transferring method and a device. the method comprises the following steps: establishing a virtual neighbor and a backup TCP connection according to the received dynamic transferring order; obtaining configuration information of a transferring neighbor on a border gateway protocol (BGP) and route information of the transferring neighbor on the BGP in a first inlet route table, storing the configuration information into the virtual neighbor, storing the route information of the first inlet route table into a second inlet route table of the established transferring neighbor on a target border gateway protocol and selecting routes according to the route information stored in the second inlet route table; and receiving message data of the transferring neighbor, corresponding to the TCP on the BGP, to the backup TCP connection. The embodiment of the invention can realize the dynamic transferring of the Peer among distributed BGPs, and ensures the connection of the message and the business during the transferring.
