Embodiment 1

[0046] Take 0.5kg of boron carbide commercial powder with an average particle size of about 0.5μm, and 3kg of deionized water, mix the two, then add nitric acid dropwise, keep stirring and test the pH value of the suspension, stop adding when the pH reaches 3 nitric acid. Under the condition of 50°C, the suspension was aged for 48h. The above mixture is filtered, and after the filtration is completed, the filtered powder is washed with deionized water, and the deionized water washing process is repeated. Finally, the pH of the filtrate was tested to be close to 5, and the washing was stopped. Dry the filtered powder at 120°C. The dried powder is ground and sieved to obtain boron carbide powder.

Embodiment 2

[0048] Take 1.5kg of boron carbide commercial powder with an average particle size of about 3.5μm, and 3kg of deionized water, mix the two, then add sulfuric acid dropwise, keep stirring and test the pH value of the suspension, wait until the pH reaches 1, stop Add sulfuric acid. Abstract

The invention relates to a surface treatment method of boron carbide powder. The surface treatment method comprises the following steps of: an acid treatment process of sufficiently mixing the boron carbide powder, water and acid, wherein the using amount of the acid is configured to enable a pH value of a mixture to be within 0.5-3; a process of aging the mixture at a ruled temperature within aging ruled time; and a process of filtering and washing obtained filter cake or powder with water until a pH (Potential of Hydrogen) value of a filtrate is 3-6.
