Abstract

The invention discloses a uniform port model and a method for accessing a logical port thereof, and relates to the field of logical port management of a telecommunication transmission network. The naming information of a uniform port in the uniform port model comprises a network element ID (Identifier), a single disc ID and a uniform port identification character string; the uniform port identification character string comprises a port type, primary port rate, a physical port number and a logical port number which is directly bound to a physical port, wherein the port type is the object type of the physical port; the primary port rate is the actual rate of the physical port; the physical port number is a number value of the port in a local layer port; the logical port number is a logical port index number which is distributed to a circuit by description transmission network manager. According to the uniform port model, the logical port of above 10<5> can be accessed simultaneously; the operability of the transmission network manager can be improved; the effectiveness and the reliability in accessing of the logical port can be improved; the logical port can be positioned accurately; the practical value is greater.
