Abstract

The invention discloses a machining process of a curved surface of a chain nest of a chain wheel shaft. The machining process comprises the steps that the chain wheel shaft is clamped on a workbench of a numerical control machining center in cooperation with an indexing head and a tailstock tip, and precision indexing of the chain wheel shaft in the machining process is achieved; a milling cutter is used for completing machining of the curved surface of the chain nest of a chain wheel according to a set moving path on the chain wheel shaft, the pitch and the pitch circle diameter is guaranteed, and the relevant size of the chain wheel is guaranteed; a chain matched with the chain nest of the chain wheel shaft is used for detecting the matching state of the chain and the chain wheel shaft, so that it is verified that machining meets standards; and the curved surface of the chain nest of the chain wheel shaft is overall machined. According to the machining process, the indexing head is adopted on the numerical control machining center for precision indexing for assistance, the dedicated milling cutter is adopted, and the curved surface of the chain nest of the chain wheel shaft is machined through the dedicated moving path; the machining process is convenient to implement, and various use performance indexes of the chain wheel shaft are guaranteed; and good reliability and high stability are achieved.
