Abstract

The invention provides a search method and apparatus. The search method comprises the steps of automatically detecting whether a network resource password provided by a first application exists in a password space or not when a second application is started, wherein the first application refers to other applications pre-bound with the second application; and if a detection result is that the network resource password exists, performing a search according to the network resource password to obtain network resources as same as or similar to those of a network resource password identifier. According to the search method and apparatus, the search operation can be simplified, so that the search efficiency is improved.
