Abstract

The invention relates to a positioning method and device for a target client base. The method comprises the steps that a positioning request sent by a service terminal is received, wherein the positioning request carries client feature data used for positioning the target client base; screening is performed in a memory database according to the client feature data carried in the positioning request, wherein positioning data is pre-stored in the memory database, and the positioning data comprises client identifiers; multiple client identifiers corresponding to the client feature data carried inthe positioning request are obtained through screening, and the screened client identifiers are marked as target client identifiers; multiple target client identifiers are utilized to generate the target client base; and prompt information about successful positioning of the target client base is returned to the service terminal. By the adoption of the method, time consumed for positioning of thetarget client base can be effectively shortened, and positioning efficiency is improved.
