Benefits of technology

This new technology helps protect against damage caused during maintenance on an industrial process plant's equipment. It saves money compared with traditional methods that require more than six months or two days after they were started up again.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed during this patents describes how to efficiently restore worn out converters' linings without causing damage over their entire lifespan. Current processes involve expensive maintenance procedures that require multiple layers of sandwich construction before they last longer.

Embodiment Construction

[0019] A high-efficiency furnace protection method, which comprises the following steps:

[0020] The first step is to shake the liquid slag to the damaged position of the large surface of the converter lining after the steel of the previous furnace is tapped;

[0021] In the second step, add 2-3 tons of raw dolomite to the furnace;

[0022] The third step is to shake the converter forward to make the raw dolomite and slag fully contact and spread it on the damaged position of the large surface;

[0023] The fourth step is to sinter for about 3 minutes, shake the converter to the position of slag splashing to protect the furnace, and splash the slag dry.

[0024] The fifth step is to pour out the remaining slag. If the amount of slag is not large, the operation of leaving slag can be used to directly add scrap steel.

[0025] Optimized raw dolomite block degree is 80-150mm.

[0026] By adopting the high-efficiency furnace protection method provided by the present invention, th

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of steelmaking equipment, and particularly to an efficient furnace maintenance method, which includes the following operating steps: step 1, shaking liquidslag to a large-area damaged position of a converter lining after tapping of the former heats; step 2, adding 2-3 tons of raw dolomite into the furnace; step 3, forwards shaking the converter flat, enabling the raw dolomite and the slag to be in full contact and paving the mixture into the large-area damaged position; step 4, sintering for about 3 minutes, shaking the converter to a slag-splashing furnace maintenance position, and splashing drying the slags; step 5, pouring out residual slag, adopting a slag retaining operation if less slags are left and directly adding the slags into steel scrap. The method provided by the invention is high in repairing efficiency and low in cost.
